Rezidence Heritage Split
We designed a distinctive residential complex on the outskirts of Split, Croatia – a place that transforms a typical holiday setting into a true sense of home. A fully functional development of this scale is rare in the area, introducing contemporary architectural influences and creating a new focal point for community life.

„The design of Heritage Split Residence draws on the atmosphere of a slow, tranquil day and the fragrant heat of a Mediterranean night after sunset. It was inspired by our own experiences from study trips across the region. We envisioned a place for diverse residents, a development with the potential to create a vibrant community, whether it is a compact studio, a spacious penthouse, a second home or a weekend retreat.“
– Pavel Fanta
The Heritage residential project on the outskirts of the popular Croatian resort town of Split embodies the relaxed spirit of a Mediterranean holiday. The six triplex buildings will offer 54 apartments, 18 penthouses and 18 studios, providing a sense of privacy, a setting ideal for romantic walks, vibrant city life just moments away and a shared community space as welcoming as the area’s surprisingly peaceful beaches.
Amazing views are enhanced by the contrasting use of bold natural materials and refined details, which allow the surrounding greenery to create a sense of quiet intimacy and the water features to mark the passage of time. The contemporary architecture makes use of natural stone and layered, hand-compacted concrete made from local limestone.
The architectural composition of the Heritage project emerges from a careful orchestration of movement through space, a sense that is further reinforced by the subtle detailing of stone paving laid in a heritage-inspired pattern along main pedestrian routes and in areas designed for relaxation.
